The AutoMate Express Nucleic Acid Extraction System is an easy-to-use benchtop instrument that enables hands-free automation of the nucleic acid extraction process for testing for contaminants and impurities. The instrument uses the established PrepSEQ nucleic acid extraction chemistry for the quantitative recovery of DNA and RNA from various sample types, including cell cultures, the raw material (i.e., serum), and samples for in-process downstream purification, such as in-process purification. column or bulk drug substance (BDS) samples.

Three-in-one extraction of cell culture contaminants
The AutoMate Express system can be used to perform nucleic acid extraction of common contaminants in the manufacture of mammalian cell cultures, ie, mycoplasmas, MMV, and pestiviruses.
